Churchill County High School Theatre

OUR MISSION

CCHS Theatre has a high-standard of excellence in theatre and strives to be the theatre of choice for CCHS students and Fallon community members. We create a safe and welcoming space for CCHS students that promotes risk-taking and growth as individuals and theatre artists. We provide multiple opportunities for students to view and participate in theatre as audience members,  actors, designers, technicians, and directors. We endeavor to prepare our students for college programs or to enter the work-force as creative and capable theatre artists.

We work closely with the Performing Arts of Churchill County to provide opportunities for our students and community. We appreciate what they do for our students.

Sara Swenson Memorial Performing Arts Scholarship

The Performing Arts of Churchill County has established the Sara Swenson Memorial Performing Arts Scholarship in memory of Sara Swenson, a  former CCHS student who was an active participant in CCHS Choir, the Fallon Dance Team, and both the CCHS and Fallon Community Musical Theatre programs. She also volunteered with the Children's Community Musical Theatre Program. The Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school student in Churchill County who has actively participated in one or more of the performing arts during their high school career and is pursuing higher education in a 2-year, 4-year, or trade school. 

A General Scholarship Resume is recommended but not required for this application. If you were not a participant in a PACC activity please include a Letter of Recommendation from your Performing Art instructor (ie. your private teacher, music director, dance teacher, theatre director etc.) Please email these additional items to [email protected].

Community Theatre Venue

We are Fallon's largest theatre venue and are available for community events. Contact Mrs Adams at [email protected] to schedule your event then use the following links to prepare for your event.
